09:08:06 I FRIDAY

Matt's new record, "Young Man About Town," is in its final stages of mixing. In fact, it will be finished by the end of this day. The record has been a blast and by all accounts, Matt's most exciting recordings so far. Release date is not set but will be asap.

08:08:06 I TUESDAY

Matt's new record will begin spinning tape in early September out in Austin, TX. It has taken a while, but a suitable place and of course, eager, creative musicians have been requested and selected for the project. The new record will be a departure from Matt's debut, "Let's Work it Out," which showcased a more RnB-rooted approach to songwriting and arrangements. The new songs were mostly written and performed on the road the past year. The concept is based around a young man's adventures and his search for leisure, pleasure and self-inflicted pain. Very hot stuff.

05:01:06 I MONDAY

Spring Dates are being announced. May proves to be Matt's busiest month so far in his touring endeavors. He's in New York relaxing before he heads back out on the road. His Austin reunion was great. Old friends and good shows. His run through Tennessee was successful and he met many new friends and fans while leaving his debit card in Knoxville. The kind folks at the venue were kind enough to overnight it to him. This year promises a new record and a big move to the Big Apple by the end of the year.

03:30:06 I THURSDAY

New shows added to the Tour Listings. I have to say the tour has been going really well. The crowds have been full of strangers but they've been very welcoming. I've had a great run of shows lately and I'm going to keep plugging away and staying out on the road. My new record, "Who Said Pimping Ain't Easy?" will probably be recorded in August.

NEWS 9:11:04 | SATURDAY

Matt's debut record, "Let's Work it Out," has been receiving quite a bit of airplay internationally, nationally and locally. One of our latest goals has been to chart on the Texas Music Chart. This is a very tedious process that involving phone calls, trips to the Post Office, small headaches, anxiety attacks and finally, return trips to the Post Office. It has slowly been paying off as "Let's Work it Out" has been added to KBEL, KCKL, KEYB, KFYX, KGUL, KIKT, KPIR, KRXT, KSTV, KSWA, KXKZ and KZAM. The record has also been getting spins on college radio at NYU, stations in California, Colorado, Texas, Mississippi and South Carolina.
